End of the Month Simm Report

Posted on Fri May 27th, 2005 @ 8:38pm by Captain Tal Feryn

Well, here we are at the end of the month. First of all, awesome posting guys, especially today. I think there have already been 8 posts today. Things are starting to pick up, so don't be afraid to jump in and add to anything that's already gone up or enhance it. Now, onto other things ... one of the requirements for the CO is to submit a monthly report to Obsidian Fleet about the status of the ship and the crew. I wanted to share a few details from that report that I submitted.

Total Crew: 13
New Crew This Month: 4 (Boris Kerlin, George Basler, Isis Taylor and Tom Kennedy)
Estimated Mission Posts: 50-55 (may actually be higher though)

These are some good numbers and I'm proud to say that all of you are directly responsible for this. I personally would like to thank all of you for making this transition into CO as easy as possible. I was nervous about taking over for B since he did such an amazing job, but everyone has stepped up and pulled their own weight and I couldn't ask for more from a crew!

Now on to our current mission. I wanna wrap everything up no later than Wednesday night so that we can move into shoreleave and get some of our new crew aboard as I'm sure they're pretty anxious to start simming with us. Once the mission ends, we're gonna move into an abbreviated shoreleave which will actually be used as a roll call. I only plan on running the shoreleave for about 14-17 RL days and about 4 days IC. If you don't post at least once during shoreleave (which of course doesn't apply if you're on LOA), you will be removed from the manifest to make room for perspective players. Just want to give everyone the head's up.

Finally, CO school is almost finished, so after the shoreleave is over, we'll be jumping right into the next mission. Richard (aka Tom Kennedy) has helped me with the idea for the mission and I think it'll give everyone something to do. More details will come as we get closer to the end of shoreleave.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, just get a hold of me through email (david.vanscott@gmail.com) or on instant message (the007dvs on AIM, dvanscot@hotmail.com, dv001m on Yahoo).
