Acting XO

I just want to keep everyone in the loop about the XO search. Tom Kennedy will be our Acting XO and will be given a field commission of LT. If everything goes well, he'll get the full position at the end of the mission as well as the full rank of LT. You'll notice that the XO position is still listed as open however. I want to be responsible and field a couple of applications for the position, though at the moment, Tom Kennedy is the top candidate for the position. You'll also notice on the manifest that there is a different pip style for Tom Kennedy, that is the provisional LT rank, which will change to two pips if he becomes the full XO.
