Thanks for the award... I'll try not to cry.

I would like to start off by saying thanks to all of you here on this simm. I wasn't expecting to win an award like OF character of the quarter in a million years and I have to admit that I'm still in a little disbelief about it. Especially with all of the great characters right here on the Nimitz.

Each and everyone of you has had an influence on me during my relatively short time here, regardless of whether we have written a jp together or not. The quality of writing and character on this simm is so good that it is a joy to read each and every post, which in turn I believe helps to make me better by setting a level of quality to strive for. Those of you I have had the privilege of posting with have been nothing short of incredible. Your ideas and abilities to run with a little moment or two has kept me on my toes and made every experience outstanding. For those of you I have not posted with yet, I look forward to the opportunities to interact with each and every one of you in the future.

Finally, I would like to thank David for giving me this opportunity. I know that when I applied for this position he had another applicant as well, but he chose to give me the chance to really see what I could do. He has supported me and my ideas from the start and continues to be there for me when I have a question or need some help with something. He has been everything a great commanding officer should be and I thank him for once again showing his support and nominating me for this award. Oh yeah, and congratulations on your own award, boss. You deserve it.

Once again, thank you to everyone here on the best ship in the fleet.
