General Overview		Easy-going, playful, can be shy from time to time but most of the time she is open and friendly. Amber works hard and is always willing to help a friend.
Strengths & Weaknesses		A loyal friend, sometimes stubborn but will always admit when she is wrong. She can be impulsive fro time to time. Especially when it matters to her sense of right and wrong, or if it has to do with her friends, family or shipmates. She has a soft spot for kids and animals; it's how she ended up with a six-legged feline and its kittens. She spoils her nephew Travis whenever she can.
Ambitions		Always doing her best and being there for her friends and family.
Hobbies & Interests		Japanese sword arts, kickboxing, swimming, cooking, dancing, reading (from old books to holo-novels), exploring various holo-programs with Daniël.

Personal History		Though she grew up not knowing her true father Amber got along well with her brother and sister's father Sakaiki Takaiara. Their mother never married and is still unwed to this day. The three siblings never complained about the eccentric ways of their mother. Their choices in life were always accepted by their mother no matter what fields or trouble they got into. While Adrien and Ashley chose to remain on Earth with professions in teaching and geology. Amber looked to the stars and Star fleet. She passed the entrance exams three weeks before her 16th birthday. She studied medicine, with special attention to surgical sciences. In her off study time she kept up with her swords arts and kick boxing training that she'd started at Sakaiki Takaiara's dojo from the age of 6. After graduation Amber got her first assignment aboard the USS Tilain as a Nurse. Her next assignment was to the USS Raiko as Head Nurse, before finishing additional medical course allowed her to become a medical officer. Amber's next assignment took her to the USS Nimitz, she stayed there as Medical Officer, being part of various missions, many of which resulted in extensive damage to the ship, so extended layover at star bases were common. Many of the missions she participated in are actually classified. A brief overview: hunting down a prototypical passive-stealth ship, preventing a coup by Star fleet flag officers who wanted to implicate the Romulans in a terror attack on San Francisco, investigating the alleged Romulan links and rescuing their captain deep within Romulan space,(giving said Captain private medical care; to continue the healing process which was also classified) investigating the disappearance of a colony finally linked to space time bubbles; resulting in her star shaped scar and white locks of hair. Dealing with a descendant of the ancient T'kon empire and her evil twin, participating in a war game gone wrong, investigating an uprising on a Federation planet which was caused by some shady characters and finally an attempt by the Ferengi (and a surgically altered shady character from the previous mission) to steal the Nimitz and sell it to the highest bidder. During her time on the Nimitz she became very close friends with Daniël de Vos, she was both sad and glad when he was transferred off for his Ph.D work. One the few missions Amber wishes she could forget about was when the Nimitz was captured by the Qaric for study, upon returning to Federation space Amber requested a Leave of Absence to deal with her feelings for friends lost and not from the Qaric's study. She and Daniël had kept in touch and managed to stay close and when he was stationed on Mars, she was able to get a position on the Jupiter station on the medical staff. On her time off and the nights when Daniël was away all night Amber was taking additional courses as in medical, surgical practices, a field of study she'd always enjoyed but never really got to explore for herself. They had fallen in love aboard the Nimitz and were in a serious relationship. So she happily stayed at his side sharing an apartment with him on Mars. After his Ph.D. defense, he was recruited by Tal Feryn once again into the quantum slipstream drive project. He and Amber decided to moved to Cellis station, as they did not want to be split up. Luckily Daniël and Tal were able to finagle an opening for Amber within the medical staff at the station. Also during this time Amber met and slowly learned about her Father; Hayden Edward Coran, owner of Coran's Resort and Spa, for exclusive customers. He's given Amber and Daniël passes for the resort along with tickets to give to friends and family. At first Amber was pretty upset about how her mother and kept the information from her for so long. She understood that her mother was doing what she thought best since at the time she was conceived that Hayden had not wanted kids, ever. The first meeting between Amber and her father was civil, talking and sharing lots of questions and answers. Each meeting after that slowly warmed up for them both. Even to the point of his playful teasing that if Daniël wasn't treating his 'little girl' right he'd have some words with him. He's invited often to dinner and had even adopted some of the kittens from Halona. They are quite an attraction at the spa now. However, now with the Sojourner nearly destroyed, Daniël has been reassigned to the new USS Nimitz, one of the Legacy-class prototype ships. Luckily she herself was assigned to the same ship as the Ship's Surgeon, though she would help out as a normal Medical Officer as well. It may seem like a step-down from her previous posting as Chief Medical Officer, but to Amber being near her fiancé while also practicing her chosen field is certainly not a downgrade.
