Welcome to the USS Sojourner

Ad astra - To the Stars...

Since its founding, Starfleet has always pursued one course of action without fail: exploration. It is the curiosity about our surroundings that's driven humans to explore beyond the bounds of our own planet and our own solar system. Spoken by Zefram Cochrane, Starfleet's creed of exploring strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilizations and boldly going where no one has gone before have never been more true.

Armed with an advanced starship with incredible speed, the crew of the USS Sojourner embarks on adventures far beyond the reaches of known space to explore the vast unknown.

The USS Sojourner is rated 15+ for sci-fi violence and mild language.

Five Years Milestone

First of all, I wanted to apologize for disappearing for almost two months. Real life is too real sometime, I'm afraid.

Anyway, the reason I'm making this post is to congratulate two special players for crossing the five year milestone aboard the USS Nimitz/ USS Sojourner.

First is our esteemed Flight Officer, Ensign Arveth Nogierin aka Scott. With his char, the odd blue haired Trill, he brought all kinds of emotions and situations. He went far and deep with Arveth, going to a demotion to match the plot he was writing, near deaths experiences and a terrible accident. We can't forget that all this was made with extreme ability thanks to Scott's skill as a writer. I had the pleasure to JP with Scott several times and I can say with absolute certainty that is a honor to have you aboard, Scott. Looking forward to more!

Finally, we speak of the master of the SMS, the father of the NOVA system. Yes, we speak of our beloved CO, Captain Alex Diaz. Of course, before Diaz, there was the hardass veteran marine Reardon and even before that there was engineering turned into captain Tal Feryn. As you see the progreesion, one can that David's skill to write always pushed him to try new things, to create diverse and yet deep characters. As an ex-CO, I know how difficult is to maintain a SIMM, but, David... David makes look almost effortless. Before David took the reigns of this amazing simm, he was my XO in the USS Hale. He was then, what he was now. Someone you can count on when need, full of ideas resources. Dave, I'm proud of you accomplished so far and I'm always amazed by your drive and determination. Congratulations for commanding this amazing simm for the last five years and let's keep working to celebrate five more.
